Absolutely lovely but shame about...

Liked: Comfortable and luxurious. Great staff.
Disliked: The gym doesn’t open until 8am. This is far too late to take advantage of if you are working that day and really isn’t acceptable for hotel guests. I only stay at hotels with gyms to keep up with my exercise when I travel for work. It was really disappointing to find this out on arrival.

Amazing

Liked: How friendly and helpful the staff were and how welcome they made us. It made for a very enjoyable stay.

Liked: The breakfast was great and the staff were charming.
Disliked: Unfortunately having driven for 7 hrs to reach the hotel there was no hot water to have a shower before going out for a friends 60th. The staff were unable to resolve and the water was cold all evening. It had been sorted by morning and we did receive a discount.

Liked: Breakfast was perfect. Nice choice of cooked and continental. Service VG
Disliked: Restaurant temperature was a bit on the cool side for our dinner reservation. Perhaps a bit more choice on the dinner menu would have been nice.
