We loved our time at...

Liked: There were many on-property dining options, The Ocean Terrace being the quintessential venue. Terrific menu, delicious food. The staff is incredibly well trained and friendly. The beach is terrific, especially at lower tides, chairs and umbrellas available. Pickle ball courts and golf were fun.
Disliked: Be aware there are stairs everywhere; from the parking to the building entrance, from your room to the lobby, etc.

Disappointing, frustrating

Disliked: - my room smelled like damp rot. Despite asking several times to get a change or deep clean, I received no real response. My only conclusion was they had no better smelling room, hence change not an improvement- half the staff are seasonal staff - mostly overseas students. The quality of service is terrible, orders forgotten, 45 mins for bill to arrive, and generally not very motivated service. Lots of irritated guests in the restaurant, beach and bar areas- quality of the food well below standard of such a hotel- the golf course is nice but catering on the course and at the restaurant terrible

Liked: The breakfast was nice (at occean terrace). We tried to get breakfast room service one of the day and it was a mess. Couldn’t connect. When we finally did they had us wait. Ultimately, we opted out. I liked the different activities (but everything is an up charge which is different than other places). The beach area/ bar folks were working very hard.
Disliked: The arbor pool area (the largest outdoor pool) was nasty. The chair were gross. This also applies with the indoor pool at the mansion side.
