The Manor House is a stunning 14th-century building set in 365 acres of secluded parkland on the outskirts of Bath. Untouched since the 17th century the Cotswold village Castle Combe is home to the definitive country hotel retreat. With 50 individually designed bedrooms located in either the Main House or the Mews Cottages adjacent to the main building no two rooms are the same. Rooms are luxurious and perfectly combine the traditional with the modern. Each room has luxury toiletries tea/coffee making facilities and a pillow menu. The award-winning Michelin starred Bybrook Restaurant has a diverse imaginative menu and the hotels very own pub The Castle Inn located in the heart of the village serves traditional pub food from 12:00 until 21:00 everyday. The oak-paneled Full Glass Bar has a relaxing atmosphere. The Peter Allis designed 18 hole Championship golf course is located adjacent to the hotel where residents can take advantage of reduced green fee rates. Guests will also find the hotel's gym here The Loft. There are many things to do at the hotel including putting tennis croquet and fly fishing in season. Nearby attractions include Castle Combe Skid Pan 4x4 & Kart Track which is a 5-minute drive away. Bath can be reached in 30 minutes by car and Stonehenge is an hour away.

Rooms too noisy

Liked: Didn't had the best experience as the room was too bright and noisy could hear some machines outside due that not been able to sleep well and relax and I wished for. So a night to relax just became a awful waking up

Liked: The Manor House is a BEAUTIFUL hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and the common areas were also very pretty. We had some drinks in the bar area and the staff there were brilliant, made us feel very special and welcome. They even lit the fireplace! So accommodating! The amenities are exactly what you would expect from a hotel of this calibre, we were not disappointed.

Magical

Liked: An enchanting building, I felt like I was in Hogwarts and Bridgerton at the same time! Beautiful, historic decor with tons of places to relax on the ground floor incl roaring fireplaces and a pool table, and upstairs in our room a four-poster bed and heated floor in the bathroom. There were dressing gowns and even the hairdryer was fab (a Dyson). The breakfast was pricey but you can order multiple dishes from the hot menu and help yourself to the continental, and the food was delicious, so worth it. The whole team were friendly and helpful. Lovely gardens outside, walks in the woods, and the village itself was so picturesque that we felt we were on a film set (the movie Stardust was shot here, amongst other things).
