The Manhattan Club

Manhattan Club is a nice, reasonably priced hotel in a great location.

Liked: Location. It was within walking distance to the event I was attending.
Disliked: Nothing.

Good

Liked: Nice and spacious apartment in a great location. Enough room for four adults. Hotel staff did consider our requests at reservation.
Disliked: Apartment desperately needs renovation and new furniture.

Very good

Liked: Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful with all inquires. The rooms were clean and about what expected given the price range. While the furnishing feels dated and overall style feels dated, the room was comfortable and spacious and easily fit four adults with all of their luggages. Location is 10/10.
Disliked: The shower made really loud rattling noise when set to the warmest setting, making it sounds as if a jackhammer was on, making late night showers impossible without waking up the whole room.

Liked: Disappointed sums up the Hotel. I understand that it is expensive to stay in NYC. But the value for the money can vary significantly. Not familiar enough, I chose here, but I will be spending my money elsewhere for an elevated experience in newer, updated and very comfortable hotels. I believe they could have accommodated us to make it right, easily and reasonably, they chose to extort us instead. They have access to cars to facilitate travel to airports, so they can’t provide a lift to the seaports or a club 1.5 miles away, well they can for a min. of $50.

Liked: Great room. Great location. Little disappointed with the overpriced lounge (it was nice but poor service and gratuities included not at your discretion). Only two elevators made for long waits but even still I would stay again. Reception, door and housekeeping staff were all helpful.

Liked: The hotel's location was absolutely perfect. The room was great in terms of no noise, it was comfortable and solid. The staff was extremely responsive and helpful.
Disliked: however the room was extremely warm up until our last night when it finally cooled off. The elevator was a bit tricky at times throughout our stay.

Liked: Very good value hotel well placed near Central Park, all staff where consistently helpful and friendly- our room was comfortable, spacious and very clean.
