The location is perfect for spending time in the theatre district and it's near Central Park, too. It felt safe, with security in the lobby. Comfortable bed, room was clean, staff were friendly. Sure, it's old and plain, but who goes to New York to spend time in the room? Would have liked a mini-fridge though, just to keep snacks and drinks cool.

Liked: The location was great
Disliked: The room was old and tatty, carpet was torn and not clean with dust everywhere. The phone didn’t work or the coffee machine. The bathroom had hairs in it and wall paper coming off of the walls. There wasn’t restrooms in reception either. I won’t be staying there again!
