Mostly very satisfactory

Liked: Breakfast was good but too heavily slanted towards a big fry up
Disliked: When there are events on, it is very difficult to access the bedrooms. There was a party on in the main hall one one I was there and there was no one around to provide assistance/guidance as to how to get to my room.

Great location would stay again

Liked: Close to university and city centre.Pizza from the bar is a must.
Disliked: It was a bit of a maze, however it would not put me off staying again.

Liked: I appreciated that it was right on campus and the breakfast was very nice.
Disliked: The room I stayed in is in need of a deep clean. There was so much dust on the curtains and the walls were fuzzy with dust.

I was visiting relatives so...

Liked: Easy to find near the University and not far from the shops. Comfortable room. Central heating was lovely and warm. Breakfast very good

Staff super helpful. Grand building...

Liked: Breakfast was great. Location perfect for university open day visit.
Disliked: Everywhere was cold. We didn't linger in the restaurant as it was chilly. The radiators in the rooms were off when we arrived. Whilst it is a grand old building, we didn't think it was worthy of the 4 star rating and rather overpriced.
