Exceptional

Liked: Location was great. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The hotel was very clean. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We had a minor charging issue that the staff noticed during our check out and it was taken care of right away and apologies were very much appreciated.

Beautiful location , Working facilities.

Liked: Beautiful location , the proximity to times square and the bustling is perfect. The facilities were all clean and neat.
Disliked: Booked this hotel because it listed kitchenette as one of the available facilities . During check-in , We were informed they didn't have kitchenette in the entire hotel and of course, it was a non-refundable payment . My kids are extremely picky eaters and we ended up feeding them mainly junk food and fast-food through out our 5 nights stay.The worst part ? , they moved a microwave to the room and when we asked for plates to figure out how to manage the kids , THEY CHARGED US FOR THE PLATES !!! ..

Did what it needed but...

Liked: Room was nice and location was great
Disliked: Paid for park view - could see about 3 trees in the distance - this is not what is shown on the website The first night we arrived our room was not ready so the lady at the check in provided us with the same type but just an alternative room - clearly had forgotten to mention it and we had one member of staff just walk in not realising we were there. Further to this we went to bed at around 7pm as we were exhausted from travelling - it was just myself and my 14 year old daughter when around 8pm I hear the door to our room opening - obviously I jumped up and it was none other than housekeeping at 8pm?!Finally as we were due to leave I was advised my card was being declined and did I have another - I gave another believing I was only paying for the room service I had thinking my bank had blocked the transaction only to realise the machine had the full cost of the hotel on which I had already paid up front! I was then asked to produce proof of my payment to which the staff member took my phone and proceeded to forward the email to her manager? We stayed at the Plaza back in March and I think I would rather return there next time Picture attached of my “park view” enjoy playing spot the greenery

Luxurious and close to everything

Liked: Good location. Close to everything. Clean. Decent views.
Disliked: Outlets weren’t international, so you need to buy an adapter. Some surcharges “destination fee” post booking. Not exactly a good fit for anyone on a budget.

Rude staff, horrible services

Liked: bed was comfortable, location to park is nice
Disliked: 1. staff was terrible, check extremely slow, it took 2 receptionists to work on 1 party's problem, while a line formed just waiting on the inefficiecies of the staff. 2. no one opened door for me upon arrival, i was lugging 2 suitcases, a single female traveller, and your doorman just stood there blindly. 3. i asked for fridge first night, was told you were out. then housekeeping knocked on my door 2nd night, I asked for fridge again, no one returned to even give me response. This was the most terrible service i've encountered at a so called 5 star hotel.
