Liked: Comfortable for family.
Disliked: Far away from the Luxury, first day in mini bar we found a bad juice but nobody from the staff wants to take it away, too much noise from 54th street, all night trucks making terrible noise. Bad experience!

Book Virgin Hotel not Luxury...

Liked: The View. The room until became aware table lamps electric dangerous. Shower Screws fell out and door on us. Water leaked over floor, damp and smelled for three nights of four. No Kitchenette contrary to advert first said told only apartments have and another said don't have any at all blaming it on booking.com
Disliked: Offered us a microwave for there being no kitchenette! Forcing the issue to buy breakfast at €100 per sitting. My travel companion previously worked for QE2, Cunard and 5 red star hotel in London warning to others is this was a past Conrad Hotel that fell under Mariott now with staff ignorant of how to deal with the cause for complaint at the time. We checked out and went to Virgin Hotel for the remainder of the stay in NYC and my gosh the 4 star far outweighs the 5 star Mariott that only has 43 reviews.. ppl are just not bothering to rate or if are is being vetted / blocked by the hotel.

Disliked: Teething issues with new management. Never made up sofa bed despite requesting hotel to do so 4 to 5 times over the course of the day.

Liked: - excellent location- excellent layout and size of suite rooms
Disliked: - I’ve stayed at this hotel 6 times (before and after management change), - 1 x Number of times I was only able to check in around 3pm . The other times my room was available after 6pm- Asked for an in room refrigerator 4 times, never came- Asked to fix a bathroom light 4 times, the technician said no light bulbs - when I didn’t ask for a child crib, the cleaning people came and brought a crib
