Liked: Location
Disliked: Old hotel, elevators are ancient and slow, hotel lobby cold, service minimal. Ugh. Water in shower kept going from cold to hot and back.

Good location, spacious room, nice...

Liked: Close to the subway, relatively quiet area, close to central park, room was spacious and our requests were handled quickly (we asked for another blanket because we were cold)
Disliked: Noise isolation does not exist, you can hear your neighbors taking a shower or have a conversation on the hall.

Lovely, hotel in a great...

Liked: Lovely staff, location was great as it was outside the super tourist area and had a lot of restaurants/bars/cafes. The room was comfortable albeit small for four adults. The heater was excessively noisy but it's an older building. The restaurant "Nice Martin" next door was fantastic for all your culinary needs.

If you want a hotel...

Liked: The hotel was in a fairly good location with the subway just a block away . There are lots of restaurants and bars nearby .
Disliked: For a 4* hotel I was a little disappointed with the lack of facilities in the hotel . There wasn’t a bar actually in the hotel even though there is a restaurant adjacent to it which you can use with a discount . There was only a coffee machine in the room and you had to use paper cups . I would have expected china cups at least also no fridge and I had to ask for a kettle , which was in the room in minutes , but I had to use a plug socket on the floor to boil it which wasn’t a great idea .
