The Lordleaze Hotel is the only 3-star hotel in Chard with its own restaurant and bar with real log fire. The hotel offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. Once an 18th-century farmhouse the family-run hotel is in a secluded area on the Somerset Dorset and Devon borders. It is surrounded by natural pastures only 3 minutes from Chard town center. A warm and friendly atmosphere awaits you. Bar and restaurant meals are available every evening and feature local produce. Superb

Liked: Lovely staff, delicious food, comfortable room, beautiful location. Bit odd driving through a housing estate to get here.. ..but worth it.

Pleasant

Liked: The staff were friendly and polite, the room was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: It was very noisy. Due to thin walls I could hear bathroom noises from surrounding rooms, doors opening and closing and people walking up and down the corridor. I was woken at 5am by what I assume was the heating system firing up and after that there was no chance of going back to sleep.
