Good

Liked: Service was really good and the staff was really friendly and helpful. We brought our luggage to the hotel before check in and arrived later that night and they kept our luggage there for us. A worker then brought our luggage to our room!! Wifi worked perfectly. Breakfast was okay, staff in the cantine was really friendly also.
Disliked: We could hear all the sounds from the hallway to our hotel room. Also when we were in the hallway we could literally hear very clearly other people speak in their hotel rooms so that was not so nice to notice… Also noises from the street you could hear very clearly althought our room was in the upper floors… Location-wise not the best since metro was pretty far away.

A prefect hotel for your...

Liked: The beds are fine. Clean room. I was amazed at the quality of the breakfast. Really very good : fresh things & extensive choice, NY Ferry allows fast transport to Manhattan. A variety of restaurants with reasonable prices are very close. Very friendly staff too, more specifically the berakfast staff.
Disliked: I had a special request (given my weak health) I received a written confirmation that my special request was OK but finally it was ignored.

Superb

Liked: all good, connected tv (even if you should rename each one with the room number, its tricky to find the one when all the hotel'tv got the same name), great king size
Disliked: the breakfast on weekend (weve been there for a week..), the team isnt sympathic, and no more cheese/ham/coffe cup/sausages even eggs at 9am when it closes at 9.30... its the only bad point on our week in the hotel.

I will not be returning...

Liked: Excellent location for visiting family in Red Hook, recently and nicely renovated building, clean and reasonably comfortable beds.
Disliked: It was fairly minimal/plain, no gym, but I knew what I was getting and booked because of price. Breakfast was a little weird, lots of different foods but might have preferred fewer choices, better quality options (eg off brand yogurt, cold frittatas).
