A hidden gem of awesomeness.

Liked: The location, restaurant, bar and breakfast basket were phenomenal. The staff were extremely attentive.
Disliked: The bathrooms could use an upgrade and just a small table inside to place the kettle on would make it a bit more functional.

Amazing location and accommodating and...

Liked: We LOVED The Lodge! The grounds are fantastic! Beautiful surroundings and so much to do with kids. (Would have loved the pool to be heated though as it’s freezing so kids can’t last too long!) We had a great experience at Lulus restaurant too and highly recommend eating there and trying their delicious cocktails!
Disliked: So unfortunate there are some negative reviews about the rooms before talking to staff or taking the complaints to reception. If you had your know The Lodge is in the stages of being renovated with rooms being last on the list. We too had a few complaints with our room too but when we spoke to reception they were so accommodating and helpful and resolved any issues they could. The customer service was fantastic!
