Liked: Such a beautiful place to stay - all of the staff are so welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The interior design of the property is absolutely stunning and the location of the property is really pretty.Situated in a great location, away from all the bustle of the city but close enough to still explore. A great quality breakfast served after a good nights sleep!
Disliked: Nothing - everything was perfect.

Liked: My room had a roof window. Lot of cozy seating options outside. While the lodge is next to a road, it does not get very loud. The food was very good too. Good place to relax and see some birds.

Fabulous overnight stay with exceptional...

Liked: The location of The Lodge was absolutely perfect for my business trip. The standard of rooms was lovely with an extremely comfortable bed. The restaurant food was excellent and of a very high standard.

Really super 2 night stay....

Liked: This was our second time at The Lodge and it was way better than the first time.The staff were exceptional and the food excellent.Loft 3 was a spacious room, very nicely decorated and with a fabulous comfy bed. Nice and quiet. All the amenities you require for a comfortable stay.
Disliked: The shower attachment was al little difficult to use as the bath is tucked away under an eave and you had to crouch. Location of power points weren't great for ladies to use mirror etc.

Liked: Outside area sloe gin decanter in room and Nespresso machine
Disliked: The scrambled egg was a chopped up omelette. The poached eggs were over done one was out of the white and also solid yolk. They should never have left the kitchen. Dark room small gap to get into the shower would not fit for some larger people
