Good

A great place to stay...

Liked: I liked that the Lodge at Russell was away from the interstate and traffic noise. The accommodations were quite adequate and our room was clean. The breakfast was a step above most motel offerings, especially some of the big chains. The homemade cinnamon rolls were awesome, as was the biscuits and gravy. Our bath towels were large and fluffy.
Disliked: Our shower handle was a bit quirky and it made it difficult to find the hot water setting. It should be looked at and replaced. The room door was a bit tricky to get closed. If you weren't careful, it would seem closed, but could open just by pushing on it.

Liked: It was decorated very fallish.
Disliked: The website gave us one price including tax but when we got to the property and paid we were overcharged. We also paid for a queen room and received a full-sized bed.

Liked: Check-in staff, very good breakfast.
Disliked: It would be good to add more information about the hotel (there is breakfast and a 24/7 front desk)There was no response to the message on the booking and the phone indicated in the booking does not work.
