Superb

Liked: A decent breakfast bar with lots of room to sit. Great service there as well. Electric charging station for two EVs. Those stations are a free service and it was a blessing.Check out is noon, that was great.The whole property is on the river waterfront, very beautiful and charming, with a nice nearby walkway to explore and a park across the bridge. All very close into town. Great staff as well.
Disliked: The pool was not open at the time I was there, not sure if it needs repair or not, but a big goose swim in it, which was somewhat entertaining.

Liked: The breakfast was excellent. The cook Candy was awesome and greeted everyone with enthusiasm and very attentive to our wants and needs. I could tell she loves what she does. Maya in the front office was very friendly and extremely helpful to make sure you enjoyed your stay, she also loves her job and it shows.

Generosity! This hotel cares for...

Liked: We loved the kind and generous atmosphere at the Lodge! They were all very welcoming and offered wine and cheese when we arrived, followed by milk and cookies before bed, and a lovely hot breakfast in the morning. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We were able to charge our EV in the parking lot too. I just wish I’d splurged on the room with a balcony overlooking the river!

Nice spot to stay overnight...

Liked: Beautiful spot on the river. Room was spacious. Bed comfortable. Breakfast above average. Liked the rustic decor and the restaurant at its sister property across the street.
Disliked: Outlet behind bed not easily accessible. This could be remedied with power strip. Need USB cord for outlet on bedstand.

Liked: Staff, cleanliness and location were great.
Disliked: Plumbing was outdated and the shower was difficult to use. Layout was unusual. Our Booking.com "special rate" put us in a unit without a view of the river, even though view rooms were available.
