Wonderful weekend stay.
Liked: The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The lodge room was clean and smelled nice. It was peaceful and quiet for the weekend. The scenery was beautiful, with a few little walking paths. We enjoyed the hot springs + pools for guests, and even hit the disc golf course! We really enjoyed our stay.

Cozy
Liked: The hotsprings and breakfast were perfect. The view was also very nice. The staff was super friendly and the beds were pretty comfy.
Disliked: The room wasn't very clean. There was trash under the beds and a bug in the sink and the tub had a lot of dirt in it. There also was not much light in the room. The TV was not set up very well either. All bearable things but I think it would benefit to be a bit more diligent with upkeeping the rooms a bit better.

We would go again if...
Liked: It’s a Lodge. It was exactly what we expected. Nothing fancy, but all of our expectations were met. The natural spring pools were clean and nice. There was no WiFi or tv reception, but that was part of the experience. We had nice visits with other lodgers. The staff was accommodating and enjoyable.
Disliked: There wasn’t a place to dine on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Might have planned a little differently if we had known that. There is a bar down the road, but we didn’t feel like going back of that. Luckily we had enough snacks to get us through til breakfast.

Superb
Liked: Everything about this place is amazing. No phone service, horrible wifi...its an escape back in time and away from the modern world.
Disliked: The only thing I would like to see is more options for breakfast...maybe some bacon and or sausage. Perhaps some potatoes.

There were hot springs...
Liked: The pools were clean. For the most part very relaxing.
Disliked: When we checked in they put us in the "outpost" building. We had booked a king room and all of the rooms out there are queens. The room was tiny and the lights didn't work in the restroom. The entire building stunk of marijuana. We went to ask for a different room, they tried to put us in another room in the same building. When I told her that I can't be around Marijuana because of my job, she changed us to building 2 which was a king room like we had paid for. The breakfast lacked any form of protein save for the sausage gravy. Lots of carbs, biscuits and gravy and waffles. Very difficult for a person trying to have a high protein low carb diet.

I definitely plan to go...
Liked: The room was very nice -- comfy bed, cute decor. The breakfast was the typical waffles, fruit, muffins, etc. The lodge area was lovely and homey. They had two sweet little dogs, so it gave it a nice, familiar feel.Also. I appreciated that the strong sulfur odor you get at some hot springs wasn't an issue here, even though their pools are inside.
Disliked: My only complaint was that the room and the lodge/breakfast area were really cold. They had baseboard heaters , bur even turned up full blast, I don't think our room ever got above mid-60s. The dining area was also uncomfortably cold. You needed to wear a jacket while eating. There was a fireplace that was nice for ambiance, but it didn't actually heat the dining area.
