Located adjacent to Duke University campus, this Durham hotel features an on-site restaurant and spacious rooms with free WiFi. Duke Medical Center and VA Medical Center are within 7 minutes' walk or less. We are located just steps from Duke University Hospital, The Duke Eye Center, The Duke Cancer Center and many other Duke Medical facilities. Our shuttle transports our guests to all of these locations, operating Monday through Friday from 7am - 7pm. Breakfast is served each morning (for a fee) and the hotel offers a bar with a light menu in the evenings at this boutique The Lodge at Duke Medical Center restaurant. American cuisine and a variety of beverages are offered. Free access to the fitness center and business center is provided to all guests of the The Lodge at Duke Medical Center. Shuttle service to nearby attractions is also free. The hotel also offers 492 square feet of meeting space for small events. Free parking is also provided for all guests. A cable TV, coffee machine, and refrigerator as well as a microwave are standard in every simply furnished room. Location was great but not...

Disliked: It was sooooo loud. I felt like I could hear doors slamming from other floors. Two lamps were broken or at best were not easily turning on. Toilet ran all night. Coffee shop in the morning, the poor guy was so overwhelmed and the food and coffee were not good after waiting for a long time for them.

Great location, clean and safe.

Liked: Location to Duke hospital. The staff were great! Very nice and the shuttle driver Harry was a hoot!
