Cosy, easy and good.

Liked: Got a room with a massive snorer, and when I asked to switch rooms they were very easy to work with. I also got an extremely early check-in at 8 am the morning I arrived! Nice people :)

Good value and location.

Liked: Staff super helpful and great communication , even down to how to get there on public transport .Great kitchen.Great location.
Disliked: Bed very soft.Ground floor rooms on street so noisy when people sitting outside.

Good spot.

Liked: Good place. It's like a giant warehouse of hostel rooms, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. The rooms themselves were very clean and well-ordered. The bed was comfortable and had an outlet for charging. It's near the subway so very easy to get around. The vibe of the neighbourhood is quiet and didn't feel super-safe, but only because it's slightly industrial and I didn't have any issues. There are some nice bars and places to eat nearby. There are some decent common areas in the hostel, including a nice cafe/bar with friendly staff. I'd stay again.
Disliked: The room was very cold when I went to bed. Not surprising in November but I would have sworn the air-con was on if I hadn't checked that it wasn't. However, the provided duvet was sufficient to keep me warm in bed. It's ridiculous that people mark down the hostel for the price - it's not cheap, but you're in New York, not Thailand.

Liked: Great hostel, near a subway and good co-working area. Rooms were a decent size.
Disliked: No elevator

Disliked: One day they had no towels to give me to shower so I had to wait 30 mins before I could shower. Apparently you’re always meant to be left with a towel but I had none
