Very comfortable with incredibly welcoming...

Liked: We had a lovely view of Liverpool skyline from the room. The breakfasts were wonderful, freshly cooked to order. The hotel is right opposite the ferry terminal that goes to Liverpool and so transport to the city was easy... a metro card for about £6 a day covers the ferry, buses and trains. The hotel owner very kindly lent us two cards for the duration of our stay. Very handy hotel in a quiet location with no hassles about car parking.

Short but perfect weekend

Liked: The staff were so friendly. We were met first with the cutest dog. And then Dave, who carried our bag up to our room. Both Dave and his mum were the two people we encountered for our stay. They were the nicest people. The room was ideal for what we needed for the weekend. Dave lent us a metro card to top up so we could travel to Liverpool and back. The bed was super comfortable. The room was warm and quiet. The hotel was just a base, and perfectly located to the bus and ferry station just across the road. We chose the hotel because I wanted car parking. But turned out to be a brilliant location and we plan to return.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn't like.

Superb

Liked: Easy to find, onsite parking, nice views of the Liverpool skyline from nearby.
Disliked: Despite the views, the neighborhood feels half abandoned and depressing, the weather didn't help,

Great host, super comfy bed,...

Liked: We were really lucky with the weather, sunshine and blue sky all day Saturday, Sunday started dull but then cleared.Easy to find, ample parking, Dave the main guy is great, really friendly, helpful and does everything, he makes a great breakfast, he was having to cope on his own, as his helper was away, Dave managed very well.Dave gave us tips for using the metro card for travelling, which we used for the "Ferry Across the Mersey" and saved us money, this can be used on trains and buses too.The bed is super comfortable. The hotel's location is 5 minutes walk to the ferry terminal and easy to use which we did on the Friday and Saturday, and a Uber on return journey which is between £14 and £20 depending on the time, be careful one guy tried to charge use £30 due to tunnel crossing but we knew he was ripping us off as its only £2.90 for a car to use the tunnel. Would stay in this location again as enjoyed the ferry crossing which made the weekend bit more interestingIf you can go to the Moonshine saloon experience, we had a brilliant time
Disliked: The room lighting was a little dark but i think that due to me needing glasses to pop my make up on.

Great place to stay; warm...

Liked: Dave is a perfect host, informative, helpful and chatty even though he’s always busy. Our room was comfortable and warm; view of the Liver building across the Mersey (as it says on the tin); state of the art shower, everything beautifully clean. (Amazing 3m high Liver bird replica in the snooker room too!) Good breakfast: filter coffee was a treat. Well located for us, across the road from the Seacombe ferry.
