Liked: The property was lovely but located on a very sketchy street that wasn't safe in the daytime or night time.
Disliked: Spacious and airy. Clean and tidy.

Liked: Great bathtub, nice rooftop bar, good breakfast/room service and friendly staff. Loved the lobby art that paid homage to the history of the building.
Disliked: The area is ridiculously gross. Had to step over pee and feces. Homeless obviously on drugs everywhere. Didn’t feel safe walking around. They do not have stairs easily accessible, which is not convenient for a claustrophobic person who avoids the elevator. Having said that, they do have 24/7 security that can escort you to the stairs which was good. Man hole on Turk street makes a loud sound everytime a car drives over it. Disruptive to sleeping. Read reviews before but ignored because I'm from LA and thought I could handle a little homelessness around the area. This is on another level! Its very depressing. Felt I paid too much to step over pee to exit the building.

Liked: clean spacious rooms, stylish furnishings across the property, rooftop bar and restaurant is great, security at all entrances
Disliked: navigating the neighborhood at night as a solo female traveler is only possible via uber, which is why I value having access to a restaurant like rise over run.

Disliked: After i checked out i have gotten charge extra fees and have been trying to dispute it but cannot get a hold of anyone who answer. I even got a charge for minibar when i didn’t use it

Liked: Location is awesome.The room window was facing internally to the mural and it was quiet over night despite the Turk st. liquor shop and constant homeless party near it.
Disliked: Just 2 complimentary bottles of water. Seriously? 40-pack Kirkland water costs 5$, just share it!But no, the hotel has decided to sell it n the vending machine.

Liked: This is a fantastic hotel in the heart of the city, within short walking distance of Union Square. I was so happy with the amenities in the room: plenty of very high quality shower products, spa grade towels and bath robes, comfortable and spotless clean bed with 4 large pillows, even a steamer for clothes. The room we stayed in was chic, had gorgeous wooden furniture and plenty of space for luggage. Last but not least, great minibar and plenty of free water stocked up daily. I also used the gym and it has everything you need - towels, water and all the basic machines. Check out the rooftop bar for some cool views!
Disliked: As always, the minibar is expensive but that’s nothing new. I would also appreciate it if they offered a buffet breakfast included in the room rate.
