It’s a nice place though...

Liked: Room was comfortable and clean. Cafe and atmosphere were excellent. Cool vibe and great location for so much and 20-minute walk for even more around DC. Not close to Metro train, so would stay in DuPont circle next time.
Disliked: Not next to Metro train. Car parking valet only. There wasn’t always someone physically at the front desk, but I didn’t try calling, and I didn’t have problems to address. Just a couple questions I figured out on my own with some legwork.

Liked: Rooms were not ready as promised until very late check-in. And the staff did not give any reasonable accommodation for the inconvenience.
Disliked: Room was not ready even after I fully pre-paid and called ahead, and the staff was not flexible. Many angry clients.

Disliked: The room was worn, missing fixtures, broken shower head, dirty paint, and the hotel lobby and elevators are way too dark...

Liked: Difficult to get ice for some reason. One staff member said to get in lobby, lobby said to get from room service.

Comfortable rooms, good location but...

Liked: The check in process was very disorganized with many people waiting in the lobby for a room to be available at 3:30 pm. One person said he had been waiting over one hour. The staff were trying to be helpful but the rooms were just not ready.
