Quaint pub in rural location

Superb

Liked: Pippa is an excellent host. Very nice room, comfy bed. Bathroom and bedroom both very clean. Breakfast was hot and tasty. Would certainly return.
Disliked: Slightly noisy with people walking about upstairs. But it wasn't for long, and not a dealbreaker.

One hiking stopover

Liked: Located fairly central in village of Metheringham. Room was spotless with all the facilities I needed. No food available in the Pub as it was Sunday which was disappointing, but on the plus side the local Indian was excellent. Breakfast was well prepared and tasty.
