Liked: A very nice room with a lovely view of Lincoln Cathedral. Excellent Lincoln central location with good parking at a very reasonable rate. Very friendly staff throughout the hotel. Thanks for the upgrade.
Disliked: There was a strange smell in the corridor to our room. Fortunately it did not extend to the room.

Disliked: Cold public areas including evening dining room. No comfortable lounge to sit in.

Disliked: Difficult to drive to - Google maps sent me round in circles and through no entry roads! Called reception to get them to navigate me there as the postcode for the hotel is not the same for parking as it is on a one way road

Outstanding stay with first class...

Liked: Wanted a quick break from narrowboat life so looked for a room with a bath, bliss. The Lincoln Hotel was perfect. The staff at reception, restaurant and bedroom staff were outstanding, pleasant and helpful, a credit to the company. The breakfast was exceptional. Huge variety with choices to suit every possible dietary requirement. The quality of food was first rate and the restaurant manager was extremely helpful without going over the top. I should point out that the breakfast was of the buffet style variety with extra items, smoked haddock, poached eggs etc prepared on request. All in all an outstanding experience. Many thanks to all.
Disliked: The only thing we didn't like was only being able to stay for one night, but be assured we will most certainly return.... And the sooner the better.
