Excellent time! Very clean and...

Liked: Very clean and the atmosphere and architecture was very cool! The restaurant is fantastic! The drinks were amazing! The service was excellent!!! You can even dine inside the original vault of the bank (reserve ahead of time)!
Disliked: Parking was free in a garage however you had to walk a little way to it. However, you can load and unload in front of the hotel so really not that bad. Don’t let this make you you not want to stay!

Lovely hotel in an ideal...

Liked: Unique—architecture—location
Disliked: Waiting to check in at the restaurant entrance. No cover over entry and it was poring the rain. Eating our meal from a sofa in the restaurant.

Great-esp for train travelers

Liked: Beautiful. A 30-second walk to the train station- highly recommend if you are departing on the train early or arriving late.

Superb

Liked: Great location for downtown Roanoke. Great restoration of an historical building, large windows offering good views. The Vault is charming. Good alternative to Hotel Roanoke. Better vslue.
