Failing short from been great.

Liked: The views are amazing looking out over the ocean and also the getting to see sharks in the water from the hotel room. The amenities are great like the indoor pool and the gym. Close to the beach for a beach day out.
Disliked: I didn't like the lack of towels in the room or the rooms not been serviced each day. The in-service food was rubbish compared to the price. It was closer to theme park food but 8× the price. Food needs serious work and no excuses for serving rubbish at the price point. The complimentary items didn't exist which was disappointing. Also no mini bar, everyone likes a modnight snack. Room service service was different the second time with the table not been set which was disappointing.

Amazing relatively new property, great...

Liked: Absolutely stunning property. The hotel is situated in the centre of the three "Jewel" buildings, which are architecturally very unique right on the beach front between Surfer's Paradise and Broadbeach. I booked a standard hotel room but we were upgraded to a residence on a high floor. The room was stunning with amazing views looking up the beach towards Surfer's. The indoor magnesium pool and outdoor pools were all stunning.
Disliked: It's about a 20-25 minute walk to the centre of Surfer's paradise (which is a nice walk!) Buffet breakfast was nice, but expensive and fairly standard.
