Lovely rooms let down by...

Liked: The rooms were lovely and first impressions were high however a couple of things really let the Langford Inn down. Breakfast information was incorrect. We were staying the night before my wedding and booked the Langford Inn partly due to the time at which breakfast was served. When we arrived we were advised that breakfast was now starting to be served half an hour later, which meant we would not be able to have any. This was overcome very quickly by the offer of a packed breakfast of baked goods and fruit salad. We were happy with this offer and accepted. When we were given our breakfast we were given a pan au chocolat and a banana. Nothing wrong with this but this wasn’t really what we were expecting from the description given. We went to the Langford Inn for dinner to avoid having to drive anywhere, and to avoid a late night. The restaurant did not have a chef in , we assume because they called in sick, which meant the food was significantly below par! We should have been told about issues with the kitchen before we sat down, ordered and were forced to complain because the ‘seasonal vegetables’ for £7.50 was a bowl of wilted kale we had to season ourselves and the potatoes weren’t cooked. The waiting staff did however deal with this well and the general manager did apologise and discount our bill. This was grateful appreciated but had we known that a number of items were unavailable on the menu beforehand and there was no chef, we would have chosen to eat somewhere else.

Excellent service & food. Perfect...

Liked: Jack & the rest of the staff were excellent, the service on check in, dinner & breakfast were without fault. The location for the airport is excellent. The pub is beautiful and we really enjoyed the cocktails & food was perfect.
Disliked: The pillows were not to our preference and the bathroom floor could have been cleaner. We were woken up at 4am by a car leaving from right outside our window & we could hear children running around in the accommodation above us.

Cozy and Tasty Langford experience

Liked: A warm and friendly atmosphere, the rooms have an cozy and warm style. This is not the first time we are staying at Langford INN, it is the place to go when we visit the Langford area. And the Pub offers a delicious food, excellent and tasty. Staff is very friendly and assist in case of any need.
