Great stay - I recommend...

Beautiful views, beautiful town

Liked: The Hotel: location is perfect, as it's a simple 1-2 minute walk to the shops/restaurants & about a 30-45 minute walk to the state park/beach. The view from the hotel is amazing during the day. The staff was very friendly and even called to check in on me when I was running late. I loved the fireplace in the room. It was so cozy, and perfectly warmed up warmed up the room during my chilly fall stay. The town: The town is just beautiful and everyone was friendly. It's very walkable, but there is lots of free parking if you prefer to drive around. There are many antique shops and cute stores to find unique treasures to bring home. It's a good place for all ages, but most places close early so it might not be for you, if you're looking for something with more of a nightlife. The food was excellent everywhere I went. In particular loved the French Dips at Haufbrau, the acai bowls at Goddess Goods, and the breakfast sandwich at Buttercup Cafe. My friends went to Kickers and said it was really good as well. If you are vegan, I saw several vegan restaurants, but I didn't have the chance to try them.
Disliked: Almost everything closes at 8pm or earlier. It is very dark at night, so it was a bit scary driving at night.

First time stay

Liked: The check in and check out was easy. The office personnel and housekeeping were friendly and accommodating. Everything worked well in the room. The location was great because stores and restaurants were within walking distance. I would book the hotel again.
Disliked: We were pleased with the hotel.

Superb

Liked: Clean. Recently remodeled. Great view.

Get a top floor room!

Liked: Brand new rooms, clean and comfortable bed
Disliked: Made a mistake of getting ground floor, we had thumpers all night long and we could even hear them talking this went on til 1:30am. Hard to believe someone is walking around in a small room for so long.

Overall a pretty good experience
