Location and value for money...

Liked: Location very good for our purposes. This was our 3rd visit.
Disliked: Staff in bar seemed disinterested and disorganised. We waited an hour after ordering for our dessert to be brought to our table despite the bar being not busy.

Liked: Friendly and welcomingGlad we ended up here !Thought we had a booking in a nearby establishment but hadn't.A last min search brought up this place and it turned out to be a good move for us.Service was professional and friendly.The building is dated, it has character and is homely and clean.Very quiet during the night.Everything worked fine and we were comfy.Plenty of parking.Breakfast was very good for the little extra we paid. Great value.Would stay here again.

Liked: If if we had stayed for one or two nights it would of been great, nice big room no chairs or table but they gave us two chairs, breakfast was good food in pub was good and great location , bus service good
Disliked: stayed 5 nights - you realise how tired it is, carpet up stairs stained , noisy banging fire door , there was a pub quiz on so all tables booked after 8, lovely couple of breakfasts but things were running out beans were locked in a cupboard one day, the black pudding ran out , then croissants , then coffee machine went to instant, and I don't think bleaching round us was a good move !

Liked: rooms are cosy, even if a bit of painting is required, the food is very good and the staff are great
Disliked: paintwork and carpets need refreshing but this didn't impinge on the quality of my stay
