Passable

Liked: I love The Lambton Worn; it's cosy, it's friendly and it's a good place for a traveller to rest. The fish and chips in the restaurant were great, the prawn starter drowned in a tomato sauce, not so.
Disliked: This time, I was given the 'Magner' room at the far end of the hotel. It turned out to be very noisy with the loud hum of what I assume to be air conditioning outside the window. I'm a light sleeper and I had very little rest. If you are a heavy sleeper, then I guess it wouldn't bother you.I was also surprised to see mould around the taps in the bathroom. Surely not a difficult job to remove?

A very pleasant stay with...

Liked: The room was very clean with its extra wide bed, and sparkling clean bathroom. Stayed here many times over the years, but this trip it was under new ownership
Disliked: Was an issue with the food not being hot enough, but the matter was sorted quickly. Breakfast again, the full breakfast came while I was eating the lovely hot porridge, and when I came to eat it - everything had gone cold, but the matter was sorted quickly

Pleasant

Disliked: The first room we were given, the door wouldn't lock, you could literally just push the door and open it. There is also a door inside the room that is open and is a mess of wires, dirt, and wood. This should maybe be locked. We were moved to another room, which was apparently meant for a single occupant.

Very good

Disliked: A lot of the surfaces in the room hadn't been dusted for a long while, especially in the bathroom, towel rail, etc.
