Liked: Good location for our weekend plans. Clean, attractive surroundings. Attentive staff.
Disliked: No view from bedroom, room looked into windows of very close flats opposite. Reception staff told me on arrival I hadn’t paid, when I had.

Lovely hotel, would recommend.

Liked: The property was beautiful. Great location. Clean and it smelt amazing when you walked in.
Disliked: There was only a few negatives I would say about our stay. 1, The pillows were flat and uncomfortable, you had a firm or soft option and both were flat and crap! 2, The door man, an older bald guy, very off and unfriendly. 3, we paid for our stay via Booking.com weeks earlier and the hotel took the full cost again off my debit card I used to pay as a deposit for any incidentals during my stay. So they took a £50 deposit, which I’m still waiting to be refunded plus the cost of the stay even though I’d paid it weeks ago via Booking.com. Once I’d seen this I called the hotel and they gave me my money back and apologised. I’d like to say that Felicia at breakfast was such an informative helpful member of staff. She helped my 15 year old Autistic daughter during breakfast and was extremely patient with her throughout. What credit to the hotel, unlike the older bald doorman who was rather rude and unfriendly! I would stay there again but I would take my own pillows and not allow the bald door man to make us feel unwelcome again.
