Lakeside Hotel & Leisure Center has a stunning location on the banks of the River Shannon. It is 12 mi from Limerick and Nenagh and just off the N7. The hotel with its restaurant and bar overlooks the linked towns of Ballina and Killaloe. Well-known sights include the 13-arch bridge and 13th-century cathedral. The towns offer access to the Shannon Waterway. The Arra Mountains of North Tipperary and Mount Bernagh of Clare form the hotel's setting. The leisure center has swimming pools a hot tub and a 120-foot water slide. There is also a gym sauna steam room aerobics studio and a supervised creche. Liked: staff were lovely and friendly, breakfast was delicious and the bedroom was clean and a good size. Check in and check out were easy too!! Thank you

Great staff and Restaurant

Liked: The staff were amazing, really friendly and helpful. The food served at dinner and breakfast was delicious, and the cocktails at the bar were great. Room was clean and bed comfortable.
Disliked: The room (128) was very small and only had a very small window in the corner. Felt for the price, the room was a little below the standard I was expecting.

Fabulous place to stay!

Liked: Fantastic Hotel! Great location, Staff were excellent & professional, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean bathroom , great facilities, pool was fabulous, very generous breakfast . I would highly recommend this hotel.
