Check-in was super smooth and easy. The staff members were happy to answer all of our questions and even gave us great recommendations. Our room was cute and very clean. I'd stay there again.

Liked: Conveniently located in walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go during our visit. Our room was very clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Parking was rough, but that's a city thing.

Our stay was great! Even during the Mardi Gras season we had a great time. The staff was very helpful with turn by turn directions on how to access the hotel over the phone. The hotel was located directly on the parade route and we were redirected around the city to make it around the parade route. The accommodation was great. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Linens were fresh and bathrooms were spotless. Would definitely stay again!

Liked: It was a nice location. The front desk person was friendly and kind. I can't remember his name, but he was nice.
Disliked: I did not like that our room was not cleaned. The trash was not pulled, nor did our used towels get removed or replaced with clean ones. I had to call the front desk for clean towels.I did not get the room that I reserved on-line. The elevator smelled like weed.

Disliked: The $47.00 per night parking was over the top but not too many options so didn't have much of a choice

Liked: Downtown, convenient to everything
Disliked: One of our rooms had a broken toilet that had to be repaired and the other had a door that the lock was broken. I had to stand in the hall for 20 minutes while someone got me into my room. Then, I couldn’t leave (because I wouldn’t have been able to get back in) until somebody could get there to repair it. That was another hour. It broke again, causing another 20 minute delay. I would not have been so upset, but they did not give us a discount off either room after all our inconveniences.

Hotel is beautiful and historical...

Liked: We had a king suite that was very nice. We booked through booking .com which gave mi's information before getting to the hotel. Led us to belive that we weren't getting a private room and bathroom and that it wasn't air-conditioned, if we didn't upgrade our room to a different one. Which once we got to the hotel we were informed all rooms have air conditioning and private restrooms.
Disliked: I prepaid a year in advance for our room, but just recently got an additional 37 dollars charged to my card after we left the hotel. Unsure what that charge was for.

Disliked: They gave me a room with a door that didnt worked. They didnt change the room or solve thw situation when they realized the problem. It’s 1:30 am and I am waiting in the hall while they solve the situation. I didnt pay $200 for this. They say that they are going to change the room after they solve and all I want is to be able to rest and sleep, not all this situation past midnight
