Characterful comfortable and friendly

Liked: A proper traditional market town hotel with an excellent bar (serving Wye Valley Brewery beers), slightly scruffy round the edges, but comfortable and with a welcoming friendly staff. Had a good hearty and tasty evening meal in the restaurant. Good range of breakfast foods offered,
Disliked: The hotel car park fills up early. More fresh fruit with breakfast would be nice, especially some Herefordshire apples.

Value for money, quaint hotel

Liked: Staff made us feel welcome, room was a good size and we had an extra large bed, we were on first floor so not too many stairs.
Disliked: Rooms were a bit warm so had to use air conditioning

Liked: Location was great for us. Bar area and restaurant were nice and had a great vibe, especially for a midweek night. Room we had was spacious Bathroom was small but perfectly good for a short break away. Breakfast was lovely
