Liked: Great location. Room was clean and in reasonable condition.
Disliked: My room was on the first floor and you could hear a lot from downstairs.

Liked: Great staff, good food , comfortable bed and free parking. Friendly warm, welcoming atmosphere and staff.
Disliked: Bedroom floor was very uneven but the building is old.

Liked: Lovely hotel, full of character, with sloping floors and steep stairs. Very clean, warm and welcoming. Breakfast good. Evening meal excellent.

Great for classic night away...

Liked: Classic town centre period hotel with character. Fabulous breakfast, comfy beds and quality linen, and spacious room, nice old charm bars with great bespoke ale! Very much a dog friendly environment, so the pooch enjoyed some bar time also.
Disliked: Few places are perfect, but it’s hard to be critical when considering the value for money this hotel offers.
