The Edwardian King's Head Hotel offers luxurious bed and breakfast accommodations in Great Bircham around 20 minutes' drive from King's Lynn. This boutique hotel on the Sandringham Estate also features a cozy bar and AA Rosette restaurant using the best of the area's produce. All rooms at the King's Head are furnished in a unique and contemporary style with en suites all including baths as well as a separate or overhead shower. Large beds come with luxury duvets and plenty of pillows and the rooms are spacious enough to accommodate extra beds or cots. The restaurant serves traditional British food including seasonal local specialties such as Cromer mussels and crab. There are Norfolk steaks chicken and pork as well as a lunchtime menu of sandwiches and light meals. An hour's drive from Norwich Great Bircham is also less than 10 minutes from the stately Houghton Hall and Gardens. The north Norfolk coast with resorts including Hunstanton is also within 20 minutes' drive.

would definately stay again but...

Liked: the staff were exceptional, very friendly,helpful and efficient
Disliked: Felt the room was rather small for the money. we did book the 'cheapest' room but did not feel it was value for money

Ideal for our stop over....

Liked: Room good size, clean comfy bed, storage, warm, quiet room but some sort of fan noise in building, food good, staff friendly and efficient.
Disliked: Tea coffee in room. Could be better quality, biscuits would be nice touch.

Comfortable hotel very good food

Liked: Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food inches resturant was very good.
Disliked: Room 9 has an awful sewage smell on opening the room door. The smell was very over powering so we needed to have the windows wide open. Glad the weather was quite mild. The bathroom had a mouldy smell coming up from the bath and sink plughole. The water took a while to drain away.

Liked: Very good choice for breakfast. Excellent kippers and also fresh berry and yoghurt.Staff at all times efficient. open every day even out of season.rooms and decor surprisingly fresh and contemporary
