Great place to stay with...

Liked: Loved everything from the moment we stepped into reception. Super warm welcome. Every member of staff was so kind & charming. Very comfortable room, cosy bar area, excellent restaurant. Dinner & breakfast were both delicious & well served.

Liked: Food very well served and ample breakfast, toast, teapots etcRoom s were large and comfortable ( maybe a little too warm)Room 2 had very bad squeaky floorboard on entrance to bathroom which I did report.

Liked: hotel is near to the Peddars Way walk.
Disliked: room and bathroom were cold.radiator in bathroom did not work.curtains in room although looking plush, the opening/ closing pulley chords did not work and curtains did not want to close.shower head needed descaling ***porridge for breakfast was abysmal. they had ordered the incorrect oats.the toast was fine.staff at desk were not interested. gave platitudes but really didn't care less.
