Liked: Very comfortable, great location and very welcoming
Disliked: Morning staff could be a bit more friendly

Excellent staff but uncomfortable bed

Liked: Log fire in the bar was lovely. Bedroom decorated well and modern bathroom
Disliked: Cold room when arrived, very hard and uncomfortable bed. Hot towel rail ‘caught you’ as you got out shower. The room was highly priced for an uncomfortable bed.

Disliked: Requested a ground floor room if possible. No ground floor. Instead was given the room with the most stairs. Room was so small that it was good I had only hand luggage as there would have been no room for me and suitcase. Smallest single bed possible. Bedside light not working. No mention when booking that there was live music. When they say 3pm check in they mean it. Not one minute before.

Pleasant stay with good food.

Liked: Ample parking. Very clean room and bathroom. Very friendly ,helpful staff. Very enjoyable dinner. Good value, very tasty cooked to order breakfast.
Disliked: A bottle of water in room would be a nice touch and a capsule coffee machine at this price point is a must. Instant coffee in 2024?
