Liked: The Inn had lost all power due to the storm over the weekend before our stay. Despite this Rhys/Reece was incredibly friendly and helpful (despite the situation). We had a great stay and wonderful breakfast. We really cannot speak highly enough of him and the chef.
Disliked: We only stayed one night and would happily stay for longer.

Liked: Attractive decor in bedroom and downstairs in the bar and dining areas
Disliked: Very small bedroom and bathroom. OK for one person, but definitely not big enough for 2 people (adults)

Liked: Booked another Hotel but on arrival things were not as expected and there was no professional customer service. as a result I checked on Booking.com to see if any rooms available at the Kings Arms as close by and there was, cancelled original booking and booked it and arrived 5 mins later and the Kings Arms saved the day. I was not looking for NYE party just somewhere quite to see the new year in and it was perfect.

Liked: Recently refurbished, super clean bedroom, breakfast varied menu and great quality
Disliked: Rooms described as "small double" so we knew what to expect and it's absolutely correct. But if all you want is a room to rest and sleep in then this ticks all the boxes.

Great setting & lovely open...

Liked: Lovely location next to the canal , short walk to the next pub on the towpath
Disliked: Struggled to get hot water from shower on the evening but was manageable
