With all the friendly faces,...

Liked: We loved the “wine hour” because we got to meet other guests. But the best part was meeting the dogs. They were well behaved and friendly. We felt the staff was friendly and attentive from the restaurant wait staff to housekeeping. Yucy (not sure I have name right- but she was from Brazil) was very thorough in cleaning and room was always picked up quickly and looked perfect. Makes a stay away from home more relaxing. Other members of the staff made eye contact said hello with a smile and always asked if we needed anything.
Disliked: Nothing.

Disappointed

Liked: Location was very good. Some staff were very professional.
Disliked: The odor. I get wanting your facility to smell pleasant, but the odor was overwhelming. It was terrible in the lobby, the hall leading to our room and our room was unbearable when we first went in. I did text 'Brian' and asked if there was something in our room causing the odor to be that strong. His reply was 'sorry we are completely booked.' I wasn't asking for another room, I just thought maybe they had something in the room that could be removed that made the odor that strong. With my allergies being what they are this has made staying at the Brice a huge turn off. I've never had this issue at any other Kimpton's.

Liked: It was walking distance to everything. They always had things going on. The restaurant was amazing.

Disappointing

Liked: Terribly uncomfortable beds. Facilities were mediocre at best. Very disappointing and I absolutely adore the Kimpton in Winston-Salem.
