Traditional, comfortable, cosy.

Liked: Lovely traditional style pub conveniently located between Harrogate and Knaresborough. Our room was well proportioned and was equipped with everything you would expect. The room was a bit chilly on first arrival as the window was open and the radiators were off, but we appreciated that this was to ventilate the room as it was turned over. The room quickly warmed up once the radiator was turned on and it became lovely and cosy and we were very comfortable. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, plus breakfast was fantastic.
Disliked: Nothing to fault.

Fantastic Pub with great rooms

Liked: Lovely bar and restaurant. Great staff. Lovely food - evening meal fabulous. Breakfast lovely too.
Disliked: Bit cold in bar area with door opening and closing all the time but it is winter .
