Liked: Warm & cosy. Great location for visiting. Comfortable beds & pillows. Good shower. Log fires going day & night.
Disliked: Sitting in the bar area in the Winter months, get a blast of cold air when the door opens but that’s just me, my husband was fine.

Liked: Everything was really loverly from the staff, to the building, and great choice of food.
Disliked: We had room 6 first of all, it was very noisy, at it was over the kitchens, and the fans were loud, the lady on duty was wonderful and changed room for us, the rooms is beautiful, sadly we did not get to much sleep, as the mattress was very hard, but apart from that it’s a wonderful property

Country location, great breakfast, bed...

Liked: Homely, staff helpful,breakfast was excellent.Near a main road but no issue with noise overnight.
Disliked: Bed was just too hard, personal preference I know but very little sleep overnight. Waited to tell a staff member in check out but nobody there. Stayed last year and no issues so wanted to ask if they had changed mattresses!
