Set in 3 acres of grounds Judd's Folly Hotel has a traditional bar restaurant and a lounge with views over Swale Valley. Historic market town Faversham is just a 5-minute drive away. The relaxed Bar and Conservatory Restaurant overlook the grounds out towards the Valley and Faversham. The varied menu offers meals made with local produce and free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. Rooms are set in the courtyard converted stable block the 19th-century hotel and the former 1960's motel. Each bright modern room has Freeview TV tea/coffee and a private bathroom. Ground floor rooms with direct car park access are available. Guests are only a 15-minute drive from historic Canterbury Whitstable and Howletts Zoo. Spectacular Leeds Castle is 25 minutes' drive through the countryside.

Disappointed. Room was beautiful but...

Liked: The room was perfect but we did not have any hot water in the evening for a bath or shaving.We did contact Reception but they did not send a maintenance man for 3/4 hour and we had to put back our dinner reservation from 6.45pm to 8.15pm. The maintenance man explained the lack of hot water was due to everyone using the hot water at the same time. This is not to be expected when paying £179.95 per night.Dinner was ok but we felt rushed. The hotel had a private function going on so we couldn't sit in the bar area for a pre-dinner drink,Breakfast was chaotic. The breakfast was laid out in the bar area at the same time the children were queuing to see Father Christmas so guests could not easily access the breakfast buffet.Overall experience was disappointing.
Disliked: No hot water. Poor dinner and breakfast experience.

Excellent, would stay again.

Liked: Excellent service from all staff. Food in the restaurant was lovely, fresh and excellently presented. The room was well equipped, cosy and warm. General hotel lounge was really cosy.
Disliked: Nothing
