Liked: The property was clean and neat and well cared for. Many beautiful antiques. Breakfast was delicious.
Disliked: There are no restaurants near this property, which was noted in the listing We ended up at MacDonald’s one night and Subway the second.

Very comfortable and Pete and...

Liked: Breakfast was good, location was easy to find and near the BBQ school I was attending.
Disliked: If I had to say something was displeasing, it was the noise from the traffic nearby at night. Eventually that died down and I didn’t hear it and slept very comfortably.

Would recommend adults staying but...

Liked: Quaint older home with lots of history. Hosts were a delightful couple who have put their love into refurbishing the home. We sat in front of the fireplace and shared stories and enjoyed relaxing. Nice quiet little town . Breakfast was delicious and much tastier than the normal hotel fare. The host made sure we had no allergies to food when we arrived.
Disliked: There were no restaurants other than small fast-food in the town and we drove to the next exit to eat. The shower in our room was somewhat difficult to use because there was a shower curtain encircling the tub and the bathtub had high sides.

Exceptional

Liked: The Jewell was the perfect little getaway/hunting vacation for us. The host and hostess went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Not to mention the 10 star Breakfast every morning. Our stay was exceptional. The home has been restored with such love and beauty. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for making our getaway memorable.
