Cosy Weekend Retreat

Liked: Spent a delightful weekend here and was impressed by the welcoming atmosphere. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed incredibly comfortable. Parking was hassle-free, and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. A great location for exploring the area, with excellent value for money. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Perfect Stay with Exceptional Service

Liked: Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, with a great selection of options. The location is ideal for both relaxation and exploring. We’ll definitely be returning in the future!

Nice old building

Liked: The style of the old building.
Disliked: Lack of breakfast options, no hot food, the hotel is currently being renovated so the kitchen was not operational. No gluten free option for breakfast despite being told that one guest was gluten intolerant when booking was originally made.

Very poor

Liked: Superior double room booked but he said standard only available. He gave us the suite at no extra cost to us. However the suite was not good - quite tatty, not particularly clean, extremely cold, and bed uncomfortable. No one on reception from 10pm until 9am.

Disappointing - not one for...

Liked: This is not what is described. The property is tired and in desperate need of renovation. The bar was not even open. Its cheap for a reason. Lovely people who own it, but the property is not great.
Disliked: Poor shower, bathroom - just tired property

Good

Liked: Well located near shopping village. Really nice staff who tried hard to please. Room had plenty of old fashioned character. Competitively priced. Would stay again if going back to shopping village. Very dog friendly.
Disliked: Needs refurbishment. Room not warm enough. Breakfast was very basic but included in price
