It was just what we...
Liked: I was hesitant about staying at a Bed and Breakfast. This was my first time. I absolutely loved it. The home brought back memories of my childhood home. The rooms are beautiful. The little extras were wonderful. The cheese tray and wine was amazing. Great stocked refrigerator. We will definitely be back and have told our friends about it.
Disliked: There is nothing we think you can improve on. It was amazing. Staff was so accommodating and friendly.

Beautiful! Staff was great and...
Liked: Outstanding stay! This is more like a boutique hotel. The staff is excellent. The property is beautiful. And the breakfast buffet, wine and cheese service, and dessert in the evening were beyond our expectations.
Disliked: Light in the bathroom was quite dim. The plantation shutters wouldn't stay open and there was no lighted makeup mirror to make up for the lack of light.

Good location.
Liked: The location was great. Just a few blocks from the Charleston market and other sites. Breakfast was continental but adequate, and afternoon charcuterie was a nice touch.
Disliked: The level of accommodation, even given the extras of snacks, drinks, and robes in the room, seemed overpriced (we were in the carriage house). The room was quaintly furnished with old pieces (somewhat oddly placed), but had only 1 nightstand, a hard stiff bed, and faux leather couch and chair. I would have appreciated a message about check-in being at a different property. While I discovered this was written in one of many sections, it was not obvious and was confusing on arrival.

An elevated experience to feel...
Liked: The staff were lovely and welcoming, friendly and helpful. Parking is across the street and my room was 2nd floor, so I greatly appreciated the luggage assistance to the property and then my room. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The fireplace was a nice adornment to the room. The location was perfect. The daily breakfast, social hour treats, and desserts hit the spot every time. Free in-room soft drinks, water, and local snacks were the perfect touch!Highly recommend. I enjoyed breakfast on the balcony. Such a treat. Thank you!
Disliked: I can't think of one thing I didn't like. Everything was perfect.

Barely adequate. Not a good...
Liked: Staff at Jasmine House were very pleasant.
Disliked: Check-in for Jasmine House takes place at the nearby Indigo Inn across the street. It was bizarre. We were being helped at the desk by a very pleasant and helpful young woman. A man (who may have been a manager) was at the desk, but speaking on the phone. When he concluded his call, he abruptly snatched away the check-in paperwork placed on the desk, which we had been reviewing before signing. He seemed completely annoyed with either us or perhaps the young lady that had been helping us. His behavior was rude, very unexpected, and certainly unprofessional. We immediately got a very bad first impression. Beyond this, we do NOT think Jasmine House is a good value. The continental breakfast consists of various items placed on a table/hutch in the hallway. There is no dining room area at all indoors to eat your breakfast. Either eat in your room using some provided "tv trays" or outside on the front porch or rear patio area, weather permitting. Our adequate room (setting aside a few cobwebs on the light fixture above the bed, caked dust in the candle light fixtures in the bathroom and failing light switch on one of the side table lamps, which we got to work only occasionally) cost over $1,500.00 for 3 nights (including 3 days parking, which cost $25 per day). We would not stay here again.
