Liked: Excellent location, comfortable bed, nice breakfast
Disliked: The evening meal was not the best thought tomato and basil soup would be a safe bet but I’ve never seen soup like it, it had all sorts in it with a layer of grease on top and didn’t look unsimilar to a drain that needs unblocking, but the breakfast was good

Welcoming country inn well located...

Liked: Very welcoming, especially after a walk down the Manifold valley trail.Good, hearty dinner in the evening.All the staff went out of their way to be helpful.
Disliked: The weather - but the hotel was hardly to blame of that - especially in January.
