Liked: Lovely midweek break in this very customer friendly hotel.

Liked: Arrived at the hotel at 3-20pm and nobody was on the front desk, took 10 minutes before someone arrived to check us in.

Lovely view but not worth...

Liked: Location was great, nice friendly staff. Good breakfast. Beautiful view from bedroom window.
Disliked: Small shabby room with tiny, not particularly clean en suite. Shower cubicle grubby & pillowcases smelled of someone else’s aftershave. Carpets need replacing in room and in common parts - dirty and worn. Room rate was £178 and didn’t include breakfast, which was another £30 (for two). Most expensive accommodation in our whole week in Scotland and we really expected much better.

Liked: location is perfect.
Disliked: way over rated.... the price for the rooms way too much for what is offered. All very dated. Shower cubicle that you would expect to see in very cheap hotel.... oh and the room with a view.... the window was tiny and high so very limited outside view !...

Good location and facilities, nice...

Liked: Likes: Good location and facilities, nice staff, reasonably comfortable room. Restaurant looked nice as did the food, but we didn’t eat there.Dislikes: Not really worth the price, and our enjoyment was marred by mysterious thumping music coming from somewhere in the hotel, which woke us at 05.30h a carried on until we left that morning. Staff was informed but couldn’t account for it.

Liked: We upgraded rooms once we arrived as we both felt that the standard double with no sea view was quite pokey.Breakfast and dinner were both pretty good. Staff were also spot on re customer service.They even put the Sun on for us on both days
