Comfortable inn for a quick...

Liked: Convenient to USC Aiken, comfortable and affordable.
Disliked: Very dated decor, updates needed to the older quilts and pillows. Hard to locate the inn at night based on the directions. We ended up in another location on site at a restaurant and the staff said that happens often when people are trying to find the inn parking lot. Multiple parking lot lights were out or flickering, so the mood was not very welcoming or clear for a night time arrival.

Would be like a stay...

Liked: I didn't take advantage of breakfast.
Disliked: I understand the property has just been sold and will be undergoing renovation. It's a great location a great location, but in definite need of renovation.

Facility was very poor, but...

Liked: The staff was wonderful. Cheerful and helpful when our plans changed.
Disliked: The property was very dated and in need of a serious refurbishment. Cracked tile in the bathroom, a screeching vent fan in the bathroom, a “Continental breakfast” that was woefully insufficient. The emptied outdoor pool filled with leaves and rainwater was depressing.

Great stay will come again
