Nice but needs an upgrade

Liked: Felt a bit cold and old. It used to be one of the nicest hotels in the area. The location is wonderful.
Disliked: We stayed there many years ago and it was excellent. Not much has changed, it needs to be upgraded and renovated a bit.

Good

Liked: The rooms don’t have amenities really, not like they use to have, kinda bare bones
Disliked: No wash cloths , soap,

Convenient location

Liked: Loation was convenient to the old Town. Staff were friendly.
Disliked: Toilet was clogged. But we were able to use toilet near main lobby.

Liked: Shower flow was goodComfortable bed
Disliked: Breakfast was appalling. We arrived just before 09.30 not realizing it finished at 09.30. The food was poor quality served in paper plates / cups. The food was removed as I was serving myself. The staff member locked us into the room when she left.We were subjected to deafening construction work both on the day or arrival and on the last day. When we complained, we received no apology. We suggested that we could have been forewarned about this.

Liked: Breakfast was good, the staff person taking care of breakfast was amazing! So sweet, always checking to see if she could help and making sure we were all taken care of. Our room was huge as well as the bathroom. Staff was very friendly. Having airport shuttle for airport pick us up right there was awesome!!
Disliked: Not always someone at the front desk, elevator was dirty, but with remodeling going on can understand some dirt, but for 3 days it was dirty, should have been cleaned each night.

Needs updating and more care.

Liked: Parking, free breakfast, water with lemon near the front door.
Disliked: The rooms show their wear. My room had two queen beds. One was old and broken. The other was fine. I lost a night of sleep on the bad bed. Our bathroom wasn’t cleaned. When I went to wash my face before bed, someone else’s hair was clearly on the bathroom counter. The carpet was ripped in places. I chose this place because I thought it was on the nicer, more comfortable end. It felt the same as a motel 6.
