Set on 450 acres of wooded countryside The Inn at Dromoland features a fully equipped health & fitness club an indoor swimming pool and rooms overlooking the Shannon Estuary. There is free private parking and free Wi-Fi. The hotel which has been refurbished in 2014 is just 6.2 mi from Shannon Airport. Overall very pleased Very relaxed...

Liked: Breakfast was nice but was a little cold when delivered to room but food was very good
Disliked: Beer in main bar cud have been of a better standard

Horrendous I still have nightmares

Disliked: Full of screaming children with no parental supervision. The worst musician I ever heard providing ‘entertainment’ in the bar. The waiter at dinner was so rude … was served a half portion of fish for main course .. when we complained about we were served another portion but we had almost finished eating when it arrived and at over €30 pp it was very overpriced.

Stunning, comfortable and I only...

Liked: Stunning setting, with views to Dromoland Castle, golf course and surrounding hills. Friendly, welcoming staff and incredibly comfortable room.The gym and pool offered the perfect setting to relax. The bar and restaurant had a great selection.

Liked: The staff were delightful. The gastropub was an excellent venue and the dinner excellent.
Disliked: The decor is a little tired, the ‘make up my room’ option should include more than a towel and bin change and the breakfast lacked healthy vegetarian or continental options.
