Fix TV and clean rooms...

Liked: My family & I loved the location. The staff is very friendly & helpful. The room size & layout was spacious for a family of 3. The hotel itself is small so the grounds feel intimate & cozy. My son loved the heated pool & their little putt-putt course. I was also surprised that you can’t hear much in the rooms from other guests, considering how small the hotel is & how close you are to the courtyard. Overall, our stay was pleasant.
Disliked: Our room TV didn’t work. Almost all of the channels showed unavailable. The couple that we did manage to get were in & out with static or froze up. I did tell the front office & the guy explained to me that this happens to at least one room every stay. Something about Spectrum changing to digital. Luckily, this trip was planned mainly out of our room so it wasn’t a huge inconvenience for us this stay. I really hope they fix the problem or change providers because that’s really not acceptable for any guests expecting to have access to cable TV in their room. Especially, if it seems to be an ongoing or expected issue. We were understanding but other guests might not be. The other thing that really made me question if we would ever stay again was the cleanliness of our room. This is a pet friendly hotel and with that being said extra precautions & cleaning protocols should be in place. Our room had a lot of animal hair and dust on the floors. Bedding had some noticeable stains. My shower towel had human hair. The shower and toilet had some hair. They also don’t seem to clean the floors under the bed or sofa. My toddler had toys out that ended up under the furniture so this is why we noticed. I always expect to find some hair in a hotel room, but it seemed more this time for me to even mention it.
