Karen M, Lancaster, visiting Miller Center for the Arts Fri, 24 March 2023

Overnight getaway to see a show. Stayed in Wilhelm room. Jaw dropping room decor; cozy spaces; comfy bed; spacious bathroom with amenities including bathrobes; sodas and waters provided; plus a filling breakfast with fresh fruit and fluffy waffles served in the morning. Owner wasn't snooty as one might think at an elegant place like this. Was totally cool when we asked him where we could smoke. We chose the ashtray behind the building, but there are chairs and a table out front on the porch with an ashtray. Owner friendly, welcoming, classy, and as cool as his residence.

Liked: Room decor, amenities, breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing.

Stay in a Victorian designed...

Liked: This is an historic home. It was built by the owner of Wilhelm Paints, Charles Wilhelm. It features architectural details, with handcarved oak and chestnut woodwork, 12 foot ceilings, plaster cherubs, Greek figurines, stained glass windows that envelopes one into a romantic bygone era.Dennis, the owner, takes personal care of all of his guests.Breakfast was a feast!
Disliked: Nothing.

A wonderful treat to step back in time when handcraft and attention to detail were embraced

Liked: This is a divine accommodation. I just loved the house. The architectural detail is exquisite. I wished I'd booked it for more than one night. The Brunch was to DIE for - don't' miss it. Your host is also most excellent.
Disliked: That I didn't stay longer.
