A rip off very disappointing

Liked: Location is good great views. Staff polite. Rooms clean.
Disliked: Had to pay for parking £10 a day a rip off on top of what I was already paying. I also had to pay £15 pound a day for breakfast which I believed was included. This turned out to be not a freshly cooked breakfast but a buffet of cheap sausages poor bacon and congealed eggs. Very disappointing. The room were dated no modern electrics with ucb charging points not even a fridge in the room. There was a balcony that couldn't be accessed with a filthy window which is a shame as the view was nice. This turned out to be very expensive with 100 pounds extra spent on breakfast and parking.

Balcony was fully covered with very grown up hedges blocking the sea view and appearance ion living in the wild. 3. Wall of the room cracking and at places with extensive moulds4. Paint on the wall cracking up5. Whole of first night the ceiling above which was the floor for the room above had foot and walking noises and we slept only for 2 hrs6. Windows with wood panels cracking every where and with mouldThings which were nice at the hotel wereThe restaurant and food service - though we had to sit in different area with the pet- broken and cracking leather seatsCar parking is satisfactoryReception staff was politeShame that it is still classified as 4 star hotelDefinitely and for sure not going back to this hotel but did feel cheated. More so we were told that the booked deluxe king room charges are same but we were given in the basement as with the pet and these rooms were extremely inferior to one allocated without pets but with same chargesDisappointedKind Regards

Superb

Liked: Lovely comfortable room with amazing sea views. We even saw a minke whale swim by. Food was good, wine very expensive but I guess average compared to other hotel prices. Spa was great, but we did get locked out in the garden so be aware of that. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely return.

Liked: Fantastic sea view room even though I didn’t pay extra for it. Very helpful staff especially in the restaurant and reception.Comfortable lounge area, very comfy beds. We really enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi ( very quiet at 7 am on Sunday)
Disliked: Bar staff seemed very stretched we had to wait a long time to order drinks and bar meal on Saturday evening.I ordered Caesar salad which came with no dressing, this was rectified once I pointed it out.The charges for the car park were not obvious in any communication ( nor on entry to the car park) it would have been good to know beforehand.Very unruly children in the lounge area but when we asked if there was somewhere quieter we were quickly shown into the restaurant

Great staff, lovely food, great...

Liked: The staff were superb! Very attentive, professional and kind.
Disliked: The room was extremely noisy, which made it hard to fall asleep at night, and there was a strong, unpleasant and unhealthy smell of dump coming from the corridors where our room was located. We had to hold our breaths to circulate.
