Liked: Wonderful location overlooking Newquay Harbour. Relaxed unpretentious personal service. The bedrooms they are very clean, well furnished with a sea view. Harbour views and all public rooms and restaurants directly overlook the sea. Free wifi and fluffy duvets.

Disliked: Difficult to find the hotel - could not find postcode on up to date satnav. However, staff gave me very good directions - and parkibg outside was free.

Hotel was what we expected...

Liked: The hotel was fine. Very busy with coach tours which made breakfast a very busy time in the hotel but all in all the hotel was as expected. Great location.
Disliked: Staff were very busy at breakfast time so if you wanted anything specific made fresh you had a small wait but not a real issue.

Fabulous

Liked: Lovely stay at The Hydro Hotel! Myself, husband, 7 month old and dog stayed here for 3 nights. Very comfy, clean room. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Dogs were welcomed at no extra charge but were not aloud at breakfast which is for the best. Great value for money - would definitely stay again!
Disliked: Hotel was a little dated but very clean and tidy. Rooms were refreshed every day with bed made and clean towels which was very nice.

Nice hotel

Liked: The hotel is in the waterfront so we had a nice sea view from our room. It is in walking distance to the railway station.
Disliked: The room was a bit tight
