good value in well positioned...

Liked: Excellent location, with free parking ten yards from the front door.Very welcoming reception.Room a little chilly initially but much better than too hot.Nice selection of beer in the barExcellent breakfast

Short stay as a stopover...

Liked: Great location, lovely atmosphere. Great Food, comfortable accommodation with a homage to Charles Dickens.
Disliked: Nothing would definitely look at it again if visiting the area again.

Liked: The pub and staff are great. We had a wonderful dinner and the breakfast was delicious.The rooms were clean and beds comfortable.

Great stay

Liked: Central location, not that I needed to go anywhere, as I was staying over the night before our friends wedding.The food was excellent, we had a meal in the evening which was one of the best fish and chips I ever had. Breakfast was also excellent, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, friendly and courteous.
Disliked: I could hear the guy in the next room snoring through the night. Not the hotels fault but it was my only gripe.
